Chicago Fire FC II Huntsville Sport reviews
Rod still has it, great entertainer
1. An amazing black female vocalist performed Proud Mary and blew the place away. His large band was great, sound was great, and we enjoyed it. Great show with a 1 hour 45 min performance and one encore.
2. He really seems to care about his followers and audience, he talked to the crowd and all. During one song, he kicked 20-30 soccer balls into the audience, one made it to the 1st balcony which brought a nice applause.
3. He was energetic and into it, but took a break every 3-4 songs while the band played. No backup band, but wiping off the sweat every other song.
4. He's a soccer player, and at 66, looked good. He showed photos on the big screen of his newborn, other sons, and some crazy sleeping dog video that runs into a wall.
5. I really enjoyed it. He thanked us all several times and talked between songs. He likes to make things personal. I wished he had played "I'm Losing You" but I guess that's too demanding.
